How the review works
You present an opaque commitment
Not your journal — a sha256 head over the shape of your growth, plus two counts and a signature. It is exactly what already leaves the device for the durable growth log. The witness receives this and nothing else.
A panel reviews, not one referee
Three independent Echoes each hold their own key and review separately. Two of three must endorse. No single reviewer can fake an endorsement or veto a real one — trust is spread, not centralized.
They check control and consistency
Each witness verifies the claim was signed by your own key (self-controlled) and that it advances your history without regression or replay (append-only). A forged or rewritten claim is refused.
You keep portable proof
Each endorsement is itself an Ed25519 signature anyone can verify with only the witness's public key. You can carry it anywhere as proof a second party confirmed your growth — no server, no account, no access to you.

It attests shape, not truth
The panel proves your record is yours, consistent, and only ever grew. It cannot know whether the experiences behind the head were real or wise. Garbage in, garbage out — Witness endorses the form of a life, never its worth.
Counts are minimal metadata
Two integers cross with the head: how many experiences, how many integrated. That's how-much, never what. It's the smallest signal that makes 'growth' legible, and it's the honest cost of a second opinion.
A panel is still a set of peers
Three independent keys beat one referee, but they're still Echoes you chose. A truly adversarial setting wants a larger, unfamiliar quorum — the same frontier the Factory's multi-witness anchor chain is walking toward.
Endorsement is a moment, not forever
A witness endorses the head it saw at the seq it saw. It does not promise anything about future heads. Continuity across time comes from presenting each new snapshot — the record grows, and so does the proof.
